Silva vs. Sonnen II Set For UFC 147

The second chapter of the Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen feud is set to take place at UFC 147 in Rio.

The PPV event was initially expected to take place in Sao Paulo, but venue and local ordinance issues recently popped up.

The nights card is slated to go down in a complex that can seat up to 80,000 so expect the event to smash any previous attendance records for the UFC.

Anderson Silva (31-4 MMA, 14-0 UFC) comes into the fight on an unthinkable 15 fight win streak.

A streak that goes all the way back to "The Spider's" loss via disqualification versus Yushin Okami at the "Rumble On The Rock 8' event in 2006. Silva exacted revenge against Okami, getting the win at UFC 134.

Chael Sonnen (27-11-1 MMA, 6-4 UFC) will be coming into the fight looking for his 3rd win in a row since losing to Silva the first time at UFC 117. Sonnen has dispatched both Brian Stann and Michael Bisping since that time.

UFC 147 is slated to take place June 16 or June 23.
