Marshall officially let his fans know of the move via his Twitter account.
"Well, it's official," Marshall wrote. "I have been released by the UFC."
As surprising as Marshalls first release was after posting a 3-1 record in the UFC, everyone saw this one coming. Brandon Vera is a tough draw for an "all or nothing" fight with your career on the line, but that life in the UFC.
I'm sure I speak for all Colorado MMA fans when I say thank you to Marshall for representing the region in a classy way. Good luck in the future.
