It just might not be meant to be.
In spite of recent news that the Mayweather and Pacquiao camps had been working on a deal to get what would be the biggest fight in history done, it looks like it could once again be in jeopardy.
And like in most cases so far, it stems from Mayweather Jr.
'Money' was sentenced on Wednesday to 90 days in jail after pleading guilty to a reduced battery domestic violence charge and no contest to two harassment charges after beating his ex-girlfriend.
The prosecutor in the case had no shortage of words in regards to Mayweathers legal troubles past and present.
“He just continually gets himself into trouble and he is able to get himself out of it as well,” she said. “Essentially it is because he is who he is and is able to get away with everything.
“The only thing that’s going to get this man’s attention is incarceration.”
