December 17th, rivals Kyane "The Pepper" Hampton and Britany "Kid Lightning" Nipper meet in the cage for a grudge rematch in Riverton, Wyoming.

18 year old Nipper made her professional MMA debut against Hampton July 23, 2010. Hampton dominated that fight and Nipper is ready to exact retribution, having overcome the initial intimidation of fighting the MMA veteran some year and a half ago.

The ladies are hometown neighbors; Hampton hails from Riverton while Nipper is from the nearby Lander. Both fighters have competed professionally in Wyoming and Colorado in the Bantamweight division. Nipper's fight history suggests strength in her stand up game while Hampton appears comfortable on the ground. Hampton previously trained at Ground Zero MMA in the Denver area and currently lives and trains in North Dakota, where she works with crane rigging in the oilfield.

"The Pepper" has an advantage with her notable cage experience, having faced opponents such as "Little" Patricia Vidonic and, in her most recent battle, Brenda Gonzales. In addition, Hampton's technical level promises to challenge Nipper. However; there is much credit to be given to heart and fortitude, strengths "Kid Lightning" will surely bring to the fight this Saturday at Border Wars II at the Riverton Fairgrounds for the Women's Pro Championship.
