Donaire is an example of everything that is currently right with the sport of boxing. Unfortunately, there aren't enough fighters like Nonito in the ranks.
An exciting fighter that cares as much about putting a show on for the fans as he does about getting the win.
One of those "can't miss" fights happens tonight as Donaire is set to take on the scrappy Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. (21-1-1, 18 KOs) live and free on HBO's 'Boxing After Dark'.
The bout is for the vacant WBO super-bantamweight strap and although Donaire will likely win, it should be an entertaining bout and card for boxing fans.
Leading up to the big night, these two fighters have grown to despise each other.
Throw that in with the fact that the weight class in general and the fighters themselves are exciting and you see why you should be in front of the tv for this one.
Not to mention it's for a belt.
As an added bonus, the other big fight on the card pits the surging Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (44-0-1, 31 KOs) against Marco Antonio Rubio (53-5-1, 46 KOs).
