It will be a WBA light welterweight title fight.
Peterson beat Khan via points to earn the WBA and IBF strap on December 10th.
After the upset, Khan complained about being deducted two points in addition to the judges’ scoring overall.
Ther was also complaints of the ringside presence of a man who affiliated with the IBF who was seen on video distracting judges and leaning across WBA supervisor Michael Welsh during the fight.
The WBA ordered a rematch last month.
After approaching Peterson too cautious in their first meeting, which let the win slip through his fingers, watch for Khan to make a statement from the opening bell this time around.
