Wyoming's Margaret Bloom of 'Fight Syndicate' made her presence known in the world of Rocky Mountain Women's MMA on Saturday night.
And in a decisive manner at that.
The surging Bloom was facing off against Crystal Pedraza as the main-event of the 'Universal Fight Alliance 8 - Women Of MMA' card.
At the opening bell it was Pedraza who pushed the pace but it was Bloom who responded with a text book jab that led to the two clinching against the cage briefly.
Bloom was then able to work some nice kicks including a highlight reel worthy "axe kick" that would have made Cro-Cop proud.
Incidentally, it was the axe kick that seemed to signal the beginning of the end for Pedraza.
Shortly after, as Pedraza continued to move forward, Bloom was able to work a takedown getting to full mount and ending the round as she reigned down blows.
That would be the end of the night both fighters.
Due to an apparent leg or knee injury, Pedraza had enough and opted for the 'No Mas' approach of Julio Cesar Chavez, choosing not to continue.
The win made it five in a row for Bloom in addition to securing the 'Universal Fight Alliance' women's bantamweight strap.
Hat's off to Margaret for her continued success.
