Colorado's Chase Hackett out of 'Factory X Muay Thai' will be representing the state on the newest season of 'The Ultimate Fighter' which kicks off March 9th on FX.
"This is the fast track to fame. To me, it’s so much more than fighting. Everyone on the show can fight, but this is the best way to show people who you are. I think that’s one of the most important aspects," Hackett told MMACorner.com
Tomorrow night Hackett will be fighting for a spot in the house where the long journey will begin. A format that has been used as of late to add more fights and action to the series.
It's clear that Hackett feels a responsibility to the fans looking for a good fight.
“The bottom line is, we are entertainers. People want to be entertained. The show is the biggest platform for that. I get a chance to not only showcase that I can fight, but show people my personality, my charisma.
"I want to make people watch the show. I think a lot of these guys are going to look to win fights by being safe. I don’t want to just get by, I want to win in great fashion.”
Good luck to Chase in his TUF quest.
