In what many probably relished in seeing, the surging Pat Curran (17-4 MMA, 7-1 BFC) KO'd the cocky, over bearing, wannabe TV commentator in Joe Warren (7-3 MMA, 5-2 BFC) at Bellator 60.
The difference in the fight was the fact that Curran was successful in stuffing many of the takedown attempts by Warren.
When he wasn't, he was able to get up almost effortlessly as he seemed to over power the visibly smaller Warren.
This eventually lead to Curran finishing the fight in the third round when Warren shot in for the last time and meet Curran's knee, gaining the 'Bellator' featherweight strap in the process.
After the second KO loss in a row for Warren you have to wonder if it's the beginning of the end for the former champion.
Watch for big things from Curran the rest of the way in 2012.
