The event took place Friday at Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario, Canada, and aired live on MTV2.
After a rough weight cut down to welterweight division the last time around, Baker sounded confident in his win.
"Each fight, I'm building more and more.
"I'm always confident in submissions. I've been in a lot of them, and I haven't been tapped once. I need to work on not getting in them."
Baker (18-3 MMA, 7-2 BFC), who is now two years in remission after a life threatening battle with leukemia, is now set to meet the winner of David Rickels vs. Karl Amossou.
