For real?
Is '50 cent' actually going to lace 'em up and step between the ropes, or has following his boy Mayweather Jr. around gone to his head?
Maybe some of both.
Although some might be chuckling at this news, it sounds like the multi-platinum artist is serious.
"That's what I'm training for. But I don't want to fight a cab driver.
"I would have to lose weight. I would have to lose a lot of weight. I'm like 204. So I would have to go down to about 168. I would fight at 168. I'm walking around like a regular guy. It would take me about two months of training."
Two months? Not bad.
We have to at least credit '50' for being a true fan of 'The Sweet Science'.
"I love the sport.
"I fell in love with it when I was like 12 years old. So it's interesting that I get to live vicariously through Floyd."
It was actually Mayweather Jr. that had even mentioned the fact that he would like to see '50' on one of his under cards in the future.
Could 'Money' and '50' be planting the seeds for what could be the biggest PPV boxing event ever?
Whether it's the truth or media hype, they are definitely both huge draws in their respective industries.
Something the rapper seems to respect the champion for.
"It's something that he's does well and it's something that he's passionate about. You saw Justin Beiber out there tonight, Triple H, Lil Wayne.
"He's an entertainer."
Stay tuned...
