Colorado's Manuel (Manny) 'Manos' Perez (20-9-1, 4 KOs) will be stepping between the ropes tonight in what amounts to a huge fight for the 'Grudge Training Center' boxer.
He will be taking on undefeated Russian Anton 'The Pick Hammer' Novikov (27-0, 10 KOs).
The bout is taking place in Puerto Rico and is being promoted by 'Top Rank', 'Promociones Miguel Cotto' and 'H2 Entertainment'.
Perez is coming off a win over another standout Colorado boxer in Ronnie Reams and is most notably known for taking Brandon 'Bam Bam' Rios to a draw back in '08'
The fight may be broadcast locally by KTFD which is channel 14 on 'Dish Network' at 10pm MST.
