The victory came at the expense of the always tough Luiz Cane (12-5-1).
The fight was close and entertaining but the judges had Camozzi edging Cane via unanimous decision after the back-and-forth battle.
The win pushes Camozzi's win streak to 3 in a row and a very respectable 5-2 overall in the UFC.
The loss was Cane's 2nd straight, his 4th in his last 5 fights, putting his UFC tenure on life support.
