Here is an official press release from 'FFC' regarding their upcoming events:
American MMA fighter Matt Van Buren (7-4-0) is the latest standout roster addition by 'FFC - Final Fight Championship', having just inked the contract with the European combat promotion prior to their ground breaking event.
A member of the famous 'Blackzillians', Van Buren will now be part of the 'FFC' stable for at least three fights, his first being against Colorado's Jeremy Kimball June 3rd as part of 'FFC 24' in Daytona Beach, FL.
"I'm excited to be fighting for the 'FFC'.
"I've heard nothing but great things about the promotion and look forward to being part of their U.S. debut."
Standing 195 cm, the light-heavyweight has already fought for the world's two top MMA promotions in 'Bellator' and the 'UFC'.
The 'TUF 19' Edgar coached Virginia fighter won in three bouts to make it to the finals versus Corey Anderson.
Despite coming up short in that round, the promotion gave him another shot against Sean O'Connell but he got pinned with another loss.
His only other action in the cage after that loss was a win via stoppage back in February at 'EWC 9'.
