Greeley - Colorado boxing promotion 'Empire Boxing' makes their way to Northern Colorado Saturday night March 26th.
The event has been billed 'Battle At The Grove' and is being held at the 'Island Grove Regional Park' located at 501 N 14th Ave, Greeley, CO 80631.
'TFW' had a chance to speak to promoter Arturo Corral about his event and the state of local boxing.
"I would say we are on an upswing as far as events happening in our home state of Colorado, but unfortunately because very few of us are working together, Colorado is bound to go right back down to the sad reality of not having sold out shows."
That said, he still realizes the power of the growing fan base here.
"Colorado has potential.
"Lots of potential. We want to make Colorado our home and as people will see on March 26th, we plan on bringing quality to our fans eyes every time."
"I really like what SCL (Sparta Combat League) is doing.
"Hands down they have some of the most popular and exciting guys fighting like Justin J-Train Gonzales, one of my personal favorites."
The event has a mixed card of MMA and boxing, making sure they have something for everyone.
Not only that, Mike '303' Alvarado will be in the house fresh off his huge KO win.
Doors open at 6pm and some tickets are still available at the door.
